Websites That Pay For Articles

These websites pay for the articles you write.  You can often write on any topic you like, but you might get higher pay if you write about requested subjects.

  • Associated Content:  Pay per articles varies, but they're pretty good about accepting most articles.  You earn bonus money based on your article page views, too.  Some Associated Content writers earn hundreds a month.
  • Constant Content:  You upload your articles and then receive payment when someone--usually a website or business--wants to buy it.  You can set the price on your articles.  Some companies post "requested content."  If you write on those topics, your articles are more likely to sell.
  • eHow:  Your how-to articles can earn an upfront payment from eHow.  There's not a lot of info out there about how much you can actually earn, but the site does say that the pay is based on a variety of factors (like article popularity).
  • PayPerPost:  Bloggers can make some extra cash by writing for PayPerPost.  Most of the opportunities require writing a review about a website, a service or a product.  Even smaller blogs can qualify (as long as it meets certain standards), and earnings start at about $5 for a 50 word post.  Big blogs can qualify for opportunities that pay $250, $500 or more.
